RESUMPTION OF PUBLICATION FEES (JUNE 1, 2026)

2026-05-28

Please note that funding under CNPq/CAPES Call for Proposals No. 30/2023 ended on December 31, 2025, and there is no indication that a new call will be issued in 2026. Therefore, to ensure the sustainability of the journal Movimento, new rules on PUBLICATION FEES will come into effect based on the manuscript submission date.

For manuscripts submitted as of June 1, 2026, the following publication fees will apply:

  • BRL 500.00 (five hundred reais) for approved manuscripts submitted by authors from Latin American countries;
  • USD 150.00 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for approved manuscripts submitted by authors outside Latin America.

Payment process: After the article has been approved, the journal’s Executive Editorial Office will send payment instructions by email. The manuscript will proceed to publication once payment has been confirmed.

Note: During periods without external funding, such as the current one, a publication fee for Latin American authors is applied to ensure the journal’s sustainability. However, Movimento hopes to resume its fee-waiver policy as soon as new grants and editorial funding become available.
