This essay aims to discuss the mediations between the theoretical formulations of the MST in the educational field, from the existing clash between School Nova Sociedade and bureaucratic regulations of the State of RS. We defined formulations that deal with the category “evaluation” in pedagogical work in the area of Physical Education. Forward analysis of documents, we noticed that the state guidelines modulate the other elements, and although there is resistance from the MST, with regard to the area of Physical Education does not envision a significant rapprochement between the area and the principles of MST.
