This paper aims to present the concept and fundamentals of gamification, attempting to show their insertions within the universe of corporal practices. For this, analyzes two distinct cases that highlight the presence of this phenomenon in the context of sport and physical activity, respectively: the Nike+ products and the online game Cartola FC. Finally, weaves considerations about the implications brought by the gamification to the roles fulfilled by games, and to the opportunities it offers to human movement, beyond video games.
