This essay, first written as a doctorate thesis in Physical Education, is intended to identify some interfaces between media speech and P.E., right from its genesis, and specially focusing new possibilities of pedagogical interventions. In order to achieve these goals, the author based his research upon the category of enlightenment (Aufklärung) formulated by Kant, arguing that P.E. has a task onto this direction, concerning media reception of sports. The author also proposes a new practice that could develop some pedagogical tools for the reading and interpretation of the movement and sportive culture, an initiative that, at the end of the line, possibly will contribute to a critical education, giving basis for people to have a better understanding of mass communications.Downloads
