      Abstract

      This paper reflexes of the interpretation of the linguistic turn within the epistemological activity in physical education. It describes the suggested reaction (ontological inflection) aimed at opposing to that presence. It concludes with some implications of the proposed reaction for the epistemological activity in physical education.

      Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES). Mestre em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (CED/UFSC). Doutorando em Educação pela mesma instituição (CED/UFSC). Tem experiência na área de Educação e Educação Física, com ênfase nas discussões concernentes às suas atividades epistemológicas. Compõe a equipe editorial da Revista Brasileira de Ciências do Esporte (RBCE) e a comissão científica do Grupo de Trabalho Temático Epistemologia, ambos do Colégio Brasileiro de Ciências do Esporte (CBCE). Entre outros trabalhos, destaca-se a co-autoria do livro Emancipação e diferença na educação: uma leitura com Bauman (São Paulo: Autores Associados, 2006).
