SCHOLAR PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN TIMES OF SOCIAL DISTANCING: OVERVIEW, CHALLENGES AND CURRICULAR CONFRONTATIONS

The year of 2020 brought the COVID-19 Pandemic, reaching the world. The contain measures included the social distancing, causing, in mid-March 2020, school closure. Thisfact caused a displacement of face-to-face classes to a remoteone. From this, we aim to understand how Physical Education, in Rio Grande do Sul, has positioned itself in the scenario of remote classes. Tothisend, we conducted qualitative research with teachers who work at schools in Rio Grande do Sul and are working with Physical Education through remote education. The tool was a questionnaire with 20 questions sent by email. We could see that Physical Education followed the activities produced by schools, but we identified changes in the way of conducting and highlighted the teacher's challenges work and effects on the curriculum.
