The purpose of this theoretical and bibliographical study, was to approach the assumptions of Adorno's aesthetic theory and of the dance in initial formation in physical education (PE). The contributions of aesthetic theory to teacher training in the PE can be mainly by the possibility of qualifying a more sensitive look at education through a re-education of the senses permeated by philosophical reflection connected to art. The dance is, then, a significant possibility of approach to aesthetic theory, and a possibility to make harsh criticism of the miseducation of the senses.
