INSTITUTIONAL EVALUATION AT ESEF: THE CHALLENGE OF A COLLECTIVE CONSTRUCTION

The purpose of this paper was to present some reflections on the work that the Center for Assessment at the Escola de Educação Física of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (NAU/ESEF/UFRGS) has been carrying out in the field of institutional evaluation. After a brief historical contextualization of higher education evaluation at Brazilian universities and, more specifically, at UFRGS, we presented and discussed the methodology adopted by NAU in the process of evaluation developed in ESEF. Based on that experience of collective construction, we brought some questions about the theme, in an attempt to contribute for discussions that may occur in different ambits.
