Abstract

The text this is the book review of "Social Policy: fundamentals and history" Elaine Rossetti and Behring Ivanete Boschetti. It is part of the basic library of Social Work, a collection of studies for this area. There was a perceived historical approach between the development of the scientific field of Physical Education and Social Services with regard to its politicization. Advocate the need for training in physical education make use of basic concepts of social policy as an aspect introductory to the study of public policies on sport and leisure.

Author Biography

Jonatas Maia da Costa, UNB

Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade de Brasília (2003). Especialista em Teoria e Método da Pesquisa em Ed. Física (UnB/2005). Mestre em Esporte e Educação Física Escolar (UnB/2010). Atuou como professor de Educação Física na educação básica da rede pública e privada do Distrito Federal durante dez anos. Foi professor univeristário na esfera privada no período de 2007 a 2010, trabalhando nos cursos de Pedagogia e Educação Física. Atualmente é professor assitente da Faculdade Educação Física da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG).
