Abstract

Valuing teachers and employment conditions in Brazil and Chile are the object of study of this research. In this article, it is intended to expose the specificities of each country and the possible approaches, using the analysis of the legislation of both, as well as the bibliography that the theme proposes. It is noticed that the two nations have valuation mechanisms, however, the difference that arises in the perspective of this study is that the Chilean educational system is central, and in the Brazilian case, the federative system decentralizes such guidelines. Therefore, it is pointed out that in these nations the sanitary condition imposed by the pandemic times deepens the limits and weaknesses already placed in the teaching career.
