In this work, it is intended to describe and to analyze the history of surf in Rio de Janeiro, in order to infer elements of more general reflection on the way of development of its structures of functioning. The idea is to explore the relations between this sport and the social circumstances more general than had folloied to it and same they had produced to it, trying, in this way, to explain to it more adequately.Downloads
