Abstract

The objective of this qualitative research was to compare the mainly adherence aspects in outdoor adventures and in indoor gym activities, during the leisure time; and, consequently the physical and psychological changes and benefits brought through a regular practice. It was conducted 40 semi-structured interviews, 20 with practitioners of Adventure Activities and 20 with persons engaged in gym exercises. Data was descriptively analyzed through Content Analysis.
