O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a relação entre atividade física e imagem corporal em adolescentes. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa. A busca foi realizada nas bases PubMed, Web of Science e Scielo, incluindo estudos observacionais e experimentais (entre 2016-2025) com adolescentes de 12 a 18 anos. Foi observado que a prática regular de atividade física tende a impactar positivamente a satisfação e percepção da imagem corporal, mas essa relação não é linear. Diferenças de gênero foram evidentes: meninas apresentaram maior insatisfação corporal e desejo de perder peso, enquanto meninos tendem a desejar um corpo maior. Adolescentes com maior aptidão física demonstraram maior satisfação corporal. Conclui-se que a interação entre atividade física e imagem corporal é complexa e multifacetada e o contexto sociocultural, socioeconômico e gênero são determinantes nesta relação.
