Abstract

This article discusses, in a history perspective, the training of physical education teachers by analyzing the circulation of methods, contents and individuals in the International Meetings of Physical Education, happened in Belo Horizonte from 1957 to 1962. By using written and oral sources, this study identified a physical education that based on moral values and religious requirements, evidencing the precepts of an integral and humanist education.
