The aim of this study was to analyze the discourses and imagesThe methodology consisted of examining the discourses and images in Internet blogs and their analysis based on cultural materialism, in the dialogical conception of language and gender studies. It was concluded that the blogs were counter-hegemonic discourse in relation to body aesthetic standards of “beauty market” and are political and cultural spaces for dialogue and strengthening of the group of women and men who enjoy another way to be beautiful.
