In recent years, special attention has been given to the analysis of social networks in education, as they acquire great relevance in creating innovative opportunities that are meaningful and motivating for students. The aim of this article is to analyze the educational and emotional potential of Twitter in a course within the Teacher Training Master’s Degree in, inspired by the television show MasterChef. The proposal adopted a transmedia approach, that is, students took on an active role in creating materials and disseminating them through different media. To assess the impact, all tweets published with the project hashtag (#MasterchEFugr) were analyzed. The methodology used was qualitative, with data analyzed using Nvivo software. Among the results obtained, it is worth highlighting how the tweets referred to the emotional impact of the proposal, sharing the excitement, the sense of responsibility, or the pressure it entailed. Likewise, through Twitter, they reflected on what they had learned and disseminated the materials they were producing, making them accessible to numerous peers and in-service teachers.
