This research investigates the stereotype about physical education showed in Spanish "teen series",broadcasted on TV, which take as reference the school life. As a phenomenological study, it uses a qualitative methodology to analyse the information acquired from the viewing of the series that were the focus of the study (Compañeros; Física o Química and El Internado). The software NVivo10 has supported the video cataloguing. The main results show a socially undervalued subject, rooted in a mechanistic approach, with a practical teacher, uncritical and intellectually devalued.
