Abstract

This study discusses sports management in Mercosur member-countries through electronic government (e-Gov). Document research was conducted in the sport e-gov systems of the ten member-countries. Data analysis was based on sports dimensions that guide State actions and e-Gov according to their levels of information, communication, service and participation. The results indicated that several interests lead the State to intervene in sports, information is placed at different levels of quality and quantity in each country. and democratic control is still limited.

É Mestranda no Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação e Contemporaneidade da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB), Especialista em Metodologia da Educação Física e Esporte pela UNEB, Graduada em Licenciatura em Educação Física pela UNEB. Atualmente é Analista Legislativo da Comissão de Educação Cultura Esporte e Lazer, da Câmara Municipal de Salvador e faz parte do Grupo FECOM - Grupo de Pesquisa Formação do Educador, Comunicação e Memória.
