Abstract

This text analyzed the social sportiveprojects in action in the city of Rio Grande-RS. Startingfrom interrogations about the "social aspect" of theseprojects, we approach some of their dimensions like:the society and the individual responsibilization, thepossibilities of intervention in non-formal education,and the segmentation process of a population ofindividuals named as vulnerable - "vulnerabilization".Such dimensions, in this study, constitute these socialprojects as strategies and technologies of governmentof these populations.

Luiz Felipe Alcântara Hecktheuer, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande - FURG

Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1986) e mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1999). Atualmente é professor nível superior - Adjunto II da Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase em Esportes, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: esportes, educação física e políticas públicas. Doutorando do PPg Educação em Ciências- FURG. Pesquisador da Rede CEDES - Ministério do Esporte.

Méri Rosane Santos da Silva, FURG

Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1981), mestrado em Ciências do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1996) e doutorado em Ciências do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2003). Atualmente é professora titular da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande, parecerista da Revista Brasileira de Ciências do Esporte e professora dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação Ambiental (FURG), em Educação em Ciências: química da vida e saúde (UFRGS), bem como do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Família. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física e da Pedagogia, com ênfase nos estudos da corporeidade, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: corpo, educação física e educação .
