This studyhas the purpose of to identify and to analyze the scientific production about theinterface between “dance and disability” in theses and dissertations fromBrazil. Theresults showed: increased production in last 5 years; prevalence of studies in a population of adults with physical disabilities;predominance ofresearch involving case studies and Laban as the theoretical support; as the main theme, prevailing emphasis on teaching and learning processes of dance to people with disabilities; greaterevidence to contemporary dance and dance in wheelchair. Thus, it was possible to recognize the tendency in thescientific production involving the interface between “dance and disability”.Downloads
