Social communication and public relations under a complex view: preliminary theoretical articulations

We present the Symbolic Interactionism as one of the possibilities of thinking the social communication in a complex way, therefore, the relation between Interacionism and the Theory of the Medium comes as a theoretical articulation that brings a larger understanding of the process of contemporary midiatization. Established the preliminary theoretical links, the area of Public Relationships is thought as strategic activity in the midiatization scenery, capable of legitimating subjects and institutions. market, trying to associate its commercial structure to the construction of cultural identities.
