O presente artigo integra minha dissertação de mestrado, na qual propomos pensar sobre como, na contemporaneidade, o sujeito munido de aparelhos conectados à internet móvel produz seu mundo próprio ao mesmo tempo em que é produzido neste processo. Propomos uma pesquisa bibliográfica, tendo como foco a produção nacional em torno do tema da internet móvel. As publicações se concentram entre os anos 2000-2012 e circulam por diversas áreas do conhecimento, sendo principalmente produzidas na área de Comunicação. Lúcia Santaella (2008) e André Lemos (2010) aparecem como os principais debatedores. A alteração no uso do espaço público é a principal característica debatida por tais autores, abarcando temas como mobilidade urbana, espaços intersticiais e mídias locativas. Bruno Latour (2012) apresenta-se referenciado na maioria deste artigos, especificamente por sua teoria ator-rede. Os autores destacam a necessidade de análise e observação dos efeitos territorializantes e desterritorializantes advindos do acoplamento com a internet móvel.
