Partindo das relações entre filosofia, arte e ciência e de seus posicionamentos acerca das questões relativas à finitude buscamos dar um novo sentido ao papel da técnica e da tecnologia na cognição, pensando uma potência própria ao encontro homem-máquina que não se reduza a uma pura instrumentalidade. A ideia de infinito na matemática e na filosofia parte do pressuposto da existência um sujeito transcendente e universal capaz de realizar sempre as mesmas ações independente de suas condições históricas e atuais. Pensar a finitude implica em repensar tanto a subjetividade quanto a cognição enquanto modos de ser incorporados. A partir dos limites colocados pelo pensamento da finitude, desenvolvemos seus desdobramentos para a filosofia, arte e ciência, e as relações que estabelece com as experiências-limite, que colocam em jogo os limites da finitude abrindo a possibilidade para o devir e para uma nova relação entre homem e técnica.
