The aim of this article is to identify the body at risk-adventure in the contemporary dance of Deborah Colker. It is an interpretative study with a qualitative approach. Through the Mix Video, the choreography “Alpinismo” (Alpinism) was analyzed. In this choreography, the dancers dance on a vertical stage, an innovative creation. The discovery of this “language” opened the door to other ways. Beauty, balance, dancing bodies on vertical walls composes the show, leading the audience to the esthetics contemplation of the risk illusion. It has been decided that the body at risk, elaborated in an esthetic production in Deborah Colker’s shows from the actors-dancers, is one of the different social practices, which involve the risk in our contemporary society.
