Abstract

Analyze the film “The wrestler”, starring Mickey Rourke in the role of a professional wrestler (Randy “The Ram”) at the end of his career. The study describes the bioidentity devices used by Randy in his construction as a professional wrestler and analyzes some consequences of this for the main character’s life. The text concludes with some considerations on the bioidentity construction of this character.
