Abstract

It is argued that the mechanisms that shape the world of Capoeira as a social protest, cultural and educational, go through the settings of (a) non-conformation, (b) conformation and (c) education. They can meet the needs of its practitioners to establish themselves in the social, historical and political in a certain time. Therefore, the latter, the formation appears as a result of the potential tension between (a) non-conformation and (b) conformation, in turn, a space food that was par excellence possible that the education of autonomous people.

Doutor em Ciências da Educação na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2010) com estágio de Sanduiche na Université de Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (2008); Mestre em Formación de Profesionales de la Formación (2009) pela Universidad de Granada-Es; Universitat Rovira i Virgili-Es e Universidade do Porto-Pt; Mestre em Ciências da Educação (Educação, História e Política) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2005); Graduado em Letras Português pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2001); graduando em Letras Francês na mesma instituição (2002 - 2007, formaçao incompleta). Organizador do livro - África e suas diásporas:olhares interdisciplinares (Nova Harmonia, 2008). Autor de diversos artigos sobre a temática da Educação, Cultura e Sociedade. É professor de Capoeira e outras manifestações Culturais Afro-brasileiras. Tem experiência na área de Ciências Humanas.
