uma abordagem ética aplicada ao comportamento inadequado

A sextorsão, uma forma de conduta sexual inadequada, envolve o abuso de poder para obter benefícios sexuais, o que também a caracteriza como um ato de corrupção. No esporte, onde os desequilíbrios de poder e as estruturas hierárquicas são comuns, a sextorsão é um problema crescente. Frequentemente inclui ameaças sutis ou implícitas, buscando a conformidade em troca de privilégios ou oportunidades. Apesar do aumento da conscientização, a pesquisa sobre sextorsão no esporte ainda é limitada. Este estudo utiliza a teoria institucional e a ética aplicada para explorar seus elementos principais: o abuso de poder e a obtenção inadequada de atos sexuais. Os resultados destacam a necessidade de uma boa governança, protocolos de proteção eficazes e uma maior conscientização sobre as dinâmicas de poder, consentimento e coerção. Esta pesquisa busca aumentar o reconhecimento entre os interessados e enfatiza a necessidade urgente de medidas preventivas, orientando políticas e estudos futuros.
