Abstract

In the era of accelerated technological advancement, the intersection between art and artificial intelligence profoundly transforms the understanding of creativity and artistic authorship. This article investigates how AI-mediated creative processes – especially those based on generative neural networks – challenge traditional notions of authorship, originality, and aesthetic expression. Through a systematic literature review and the analysis of artistic projects produced with AI, the study proposes a critical reflection on the role of the artist and the legitimacy of algorithmic creativity in the 21st century. It is argued that AI not only expands the possibilities of creation but also necessitates the reconfiguration of the epistemological boundaries of art.

Possui graduação em Letras pela Univiersidade Federal do Pará/ SOURE (2013) e Graduação em Ciências Naturais pela Universidade do Estado do Pará/ São Miguel Do Guama (2013). Atualmente é coordenador pedagógico - Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Miguel do Guamá e professor da Prefeitura Municipal de Mãe do Rio.
