On air, community: a reception study of community radio stations from Santa Maria

This research aims at understanding the process of reception of the contents broadcasted by the community radio stations Caraí FM and Comnorte and their representativity with listeners of southern and northern Santa Maria – RS. Based on studies of communication, reception and community radio, the stations in question were studied. The focus groups methodology was used in the discussion and the analysis of programming reception and their forms of production and how it is established a relationship between community residents and broadcasters. Among the findings, there was a limited participation of the listeners.Downloads
