O Cinema educativo nos anos de 1920 e 1930: algumas tendências presentes na bibliografia contemporânea

Abstract

This paper presents a research published in the early years about the educational cinema from 1920 until 1930. Within those decades, there was an intense debate about national cinema and its possibilities as a pedagogical tool. Many projects were implemented, and, among them, the creation of the Instituto National de Cinema Educativo (Educational Cinema National Institute), in 1937. The approach for this research follows four thematic paths: Cinema and State, History and National Cinema Critics, Cinema and History, Cinema and Education.
