Management of Education and teacher qualification: some reflections about teacher's permanent training

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to propose some considerations around some suppositions that have guided the experiences of teacher's in-job training, making use of the report of three initiatives that have been introduced in public schools of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The author tries to present the reasons that in Brazil, have led to the present emphasis in the permanent training. At last, he makes some considerations about this question from a democratic point of view in Education.
