Abstract

This article presents an integrative review of the literature on Organizational Memory, synthesizing theoretical and practical contributions, as well as suggestions for future research from studies published in the last teen years (2015-2024). The objective is to map the landscape of scientific production on Organizational Memory. For the integrative review, thematic analysis was used to evaluate and synthesize the evidence. The results highlight the importance of Organizational Memory as a strategic resource for knowledge management, directly influencing the performance and competitiveness of organizations. The analyses also identified success factors and challenges for implementation. The findings suggest further research on outcomes, the application of different research methodologies in various contexts, and the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance the capture, storage, and retrieval of organizational memories, with the potential to contribute to the definition of strategies.

Juliane Laviniki, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Doutoranda em Gestão do Conhecimento na UFSC. Mestra em Administração pela Faculdade Meridional, com bolsa pela CAPES. Pós-Graduada em Administração Financeira (2020), Pós-graduada em Formação Pedagógica para a Docência (2019) e com MBA Executivo em Administração pela FAE (2015). Possui graduação em Administração pela Faculdade Anglicana de Erechim (2012). Atuou como docente na FAT - Faculdade de Tapejara, nos cursos de Administração, Ciências Contábeis e outros. Atualmente é servidora pública no Tribunal de Justiça de Santa Catarina.

Mestranda em Engenharia, Gestão e Mídia do Conhecimento pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Gregório Varvakis, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Possui graduação em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1979), mestrado em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1982) e doutorado em Manufacturing Engineering - Loughborough University of Technology (1991). Atualmente é professor titular da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Depto de Engenharia do Conhecimento atuando no ensino da graduação ( Engenharias e Economia ) e nos programas de Pósgraduação de Engenharia, gestão e mídia do conhecimento e Ciência da Informação .
