Abstract

Based on a survey conducted in different bases of academic data such as journal articles, undergraduate final papers, theses, and dissertations, this paper presents a critical analysis of different fields of knowledge in the scientific production on Somatic Education, aiming to support future work. The research was quantitative and documentary and it had as priority sources CAPES site and the Brazilian National Library of Dissertations and Theses (BDTD) site. It was concluded that Somatic Education is multidisciplinary and it has the largest academic representation in the field of Arts, followed by the Health sector, possibly reflecting its origins and applications.

Priscila Rosseto Costa, Universidade Estadual de Campinas

Priscila Rosseto Costa possui licenciatura plena em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas, membro do laboratório de estudos sobre Arte, Corpo e Educação (laborarte); Docente na rede municipal de ensino da cidade de Itupeva onde realiza intervenções no campo da educação somática. 

Márcia Strazzacappa (Universidade Estadual de Campinas, UNICAMP, Campinas, Brasil), Universidade Estadual de Campinas

Márcia Strazzacapa é atriz, bailarina,pesquisadora, docente. Licenciada em Pedagogia e Dança e mestre em Educação pela UNICAMP, possui doutorado em Arte: Estudos Teatrais e Coreográficos pela Universidade de Paris VII/França.   Atualmente é pesquisdora e professora da Faculdade de Educação UNICAMP, membro do laboratório de estudos sobre Arte, Corpo e Educação (laborarte).Foi coordenadora e diretora associada para os cursos de licenciaturas na faculdade de Educação Unicamp.
