This article presents an analysis of the news published on the transgênicas seeds in periodicals gauchos directed to a "commercial journalism" and that tied with the call "ecojournalism". The analysis allowed to show certain confrontations between the main argumentative models used by periodicals in the production of inf ormation on the transgênicos, as well as it contributed to disclose that the two spaces of production of considered ambient notice possess functioning dynamic, forms of organization and schemes of perception that if they differentiate.
