Abstract

It also analyses Brazilian conjuncture in the 90es, in order to understand the productive restructuring of the country and the need of an approach among business and educational sectors. This approximation originated the initiative to apply total quality to education. This article studies the ideologic nature of administrative theories, especially of total quality, in order to argue about the possibility of this application in aducation, due to the speci fic nature of the educational process.
