Youth and new social space 01 construction and sense negotiation

Abstract

Communication and education has traditionally been viewed as complementary social processes along human history. Notwithstanding school and media are known to keep nowadays a conflicting relation, at best a weak partnership relation. It is our aim to verify the increasing effect of the conflict in the last decades, also due to contemporaneous interpretative theories on this matter. A new interpretation on communication is being proposed enhancing school and media relation as referencial for teenagers in their social construction of a Weltanschauung enlighted by democratic values.
