- The Hybrid Education as a Methodology and its Mercantilist Face in Brazil

Abstract

This text analyzes the country's recent hybrid education standardization policy to identify the concept established in the legal instruments and the possible implications of hybrid education in Brazilian education. With a qualitative approach, this study starts from the document analysis of the instruments issued by the Ministry of Education and the theoretical basis of Hybrid Education and technology-mediated education. In conclusion, it is evident that the documents forward a proposal of the hybrid as a “methodology” of the distance modality incorporated into face-to-face education without the specific regulation of follow-up and evaluation policies.
