Playing in the rubble an essay on the invention of other worlds, childhoods and psychosocial care in the context of climate disasters

The article starts from the experience of listening to and accompanying children in the Psychosocial Care Network of the Unified Health System directly affected by the events of the May 2024 climate catastrophe in Rio Grande do Sul, to point out the time of childhood as a sign of the effects of psychic suffering in the petrosexorcial regime. It analyzes the possibility of infancialization as an indispensable clinical-political device for the reconstruction of the post-disaster city, based on the following questions: What are the plural childhoods that (r)exist in the Anthropocene? How do these children constitute possibilities for existence and the construction of other worlds in the face of the ruins of capitalism in its neoliberal and colonial face? Methodologically supported by a cartographic approach, the study points to the possibility of organizing and machining other futures in order to destitute the ruins of coloniality.
