Proposed data lifecycle model to support results-based management
a case study of Compaz Ariano Suassuna

This study addresses the data lifecycle and results-based management with a specific focus on Community Peace Center Ariano Suassuna, in Recife. The main objective was to identify the most suitable data lifecycle model to support decision-making and the monitoring of actions conducted at Center. To this end, the study sought to understand the types of data generated, map data management and information flow, and analyze whether these data adequately meet strategic support needs. A qualitative and exploratory approach was adopted, based on bibliographic and documentary research, as well as semi-structured interviews, with a focus on the guidelines of the Recife Strategic Plan 2021–2024, the General Data Protection Law, and Municipal Decree No. 35.583/2022, which establishes the Municipal Policy for Personal Data Protection. The analysis revealed the need to improve data management, particularly through the standardization of information flows and alignment with legal guidelines, especially regarding data minimization and security. A data lifecycle model was proposed, adapted to the reality of Center and in compliance with legal requirements. This model contributes to more efficient decision-making and strengthens data-driven management, fostering greater alignment with institutional objectives and local public policies.
