Época magazine Green Editions: ecological grammar in contemporary journalism
Keywords:
Journalism. Discourse. Environment.Abstract
When looking at Época magazine Green Editions (2006, 2007, 2008), this text proposes debating the journalistic discourse about the environment in the indissociable relation of a text and its socio-historical production conditions to the discursivity that constitutes it. It puts the discursive place and the sayings on environment of its three editions in perspective, in order to discuss how this journalism names what “being green” is contemporarily. The reading gesture also considers the present environmental questions risk scenery and the growth of these approaches on environmentally correct practices, which are signified by journalism in its task of receiving and building “grammars” – the ecological ones in this case – offered to individuals so that they feel like citizens.Downloads
