O cinema do futuro: entre novas e tradicionais tecnologias, entre a morte e a reinvenção
Keywords:
New medias. Contemporary cinema. Cinefilia.Abstract
Cinema is no longer the main audiovisual experience in our “society of images”. This wide heterogeneous network of images and sounds is changing our perception in relation to the place of cinema along with other audiovisual experiences. The purpose of this article is to think of cinema in its relations to what we call the new medias. Our standpoint is based on Phillipe Dubois: affirming cinema as an essential reference to the whole audiovisual, with no resentments or pre-conceived opinions in relation to the new technologies. Along this path we go through some false questions, the melancholic idea of the “death of cinema”, the emergence of a new digital and rhizomatic cinefilia, and an impure contemporary.Downloads
