“Chiclete misturado com banana”: the national adaptations of regulatory logics on communication

The article examines broadcasting first years and the creation of Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (National Agency of Telecommunications) to verify how Brazilian communication reproduces some regulatory logics imported from other models of regulation. It is argued that the standards of control adopted in Brazil make up a unique relationship of dependency.Downloads
