Quiroartropatia Diabética: Sinal da Prece

Paciente do sexo feminino, 23 anos, cor preta, apresenta o diagnóstico de diabetes melito (DM) do tipo 1 desde os 7 anos de idade, com controle glicêmico persistentemente inadequado e inúmeras internações por cetoacidose diabética. Cursa com múltiplas complicações microvasculares relacionadas à doença, com diagnóstico de amaurose bilateral há 2 anos, secundária à retinopatia diabética, síndrome nefrótica e insuficiência renal crônica dialítica, gastroparesia diabética e síndrome de Mauriac (baixa estatura, atraso puberal, hepatomegalia e fácies cushingóide). Iniciou progressivamente com importante limitação dos movimentos das mãos, complicação também relacionada ao DM.
