Spontaneous pneumothorax during pregnancy: case report and literature review

A ocorrência de pneumotórax durante a gravidez é uma complicação rara e potencialmente grave quer para a mãe quer para o feto. Devido ao aumento das necessidades de oxigénio durante a gravidez e em especial durante o parto, o pneumotórax compromete o fornecimento de oxigénio ao feto, por determinar hipóxia materna. Os autores descrevem um caso de pneumotórax na gravidez e fazem a revisão da literatura.
