Belonging as a teacher
reflections on the singularities of the experiences of school physical education teachers

This article aims to analyze, through Arendtian categories, the manifestations of the aspects of belonging to the profession of physical education teacher in their knowledge/doings. It mobilizes the (auto)biographical method and narrative research with six collaborating teachers from two Public Education Networks. The narratives helped to provoke a reflection about the singularity of the teaching experience, understanding how their knowledge is incorporated and constitutes the person and the teacher, pointing out that such dimensions need to be intensified in the training process.
