Abstract

This article aims to present and discuss a didactic sequence for students of Technical Education Integrated to High School at a public institution, in which robotics and computer programming were taught. practical, interactive, and creative way, but which promoted the transition to more complex projects. The resources used were the Lego® Mindstorms EV3 Kit and Arduino, along with free online tools such as the Tinkercad® simulator and Scratch. The methodology consisted of developing and applying a six classes course, and the data analyzed were the students' responses to an initial and final questionnaire, in addition to their logbooks. The main results indicate that dynamic, collaborative classes with a focus on practical activities are effective in teaching robotics and programming and contribute to learning and increasing students' interest in the area.
