Delsarte and Laban: the origins and principles of an aesthetic revolution
Keywords:
Acting Pedagogy, Body Work, Modern DanceAbstract
This text establishes a link between some principles of the work of François Delsarte and Rudolf Laban, concluding that what identifies them is closely connected with the research method, which is based on the observation of human nature and human beings in real life and in art. It also shows that the principles of the method proposed by Delsarte are part of the contemporary scene and of different forms of pedagogy connected to this very same scene.Downloads
