Somatic practices of Dynamic Postural Reorganization in investigative researches of the performative body
This article discusses how the somatic practices of Dynamic Postural Reorganization can contribute for the performing body. Presenting experiences of performing artists with this somatic technique, our focus is to highlight how sensitive knowledge about the dynamics of states of presence and consciousness in correlation with tonic and postural states emerges, expanding resources of the performative body. Autonomy is a hallmark of this technique which, instead of established truths, promotes a dialogical relationship with the artist-researcher, which reinforces its potential to generate individual and collective agency, with strong applicability to the investigation of the performing body.
