This paper aims to discuss the insertion of new technologies based on Application Programming Interface (API), which allows new ways to delivery journalistic information based on geographic information (locality) by mobile platform to emerge. This technological structure is possible because information is related and correlated to APIs. They are interconnected through bridges of metadata, creating numerous possibilities of informative layers. This approach allows the delivery of local information through location-based technologies, expanding the traditional concept of Hyperlocal.
