This paper stems from the experience of a teacher training internship with the Research Group Teaching Staff, Communication, and Educational Research - Procie at the University of Málaga (Jan-Mar/2021) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective was to categorize, based on the researchers' narratives, the foundations and perspectives of narrative research. The methodology involved what we called Procie Conversations, consisting of three 1h40min meetings where participants freely discussed their conceptions based on pre-established guidelines. Three categories emerged: neoliberal individualism and its overcoming through interpersonal relationships, being a researcher in the narrative field, and ethics in narrative research. The Conversations proved valuable for discussing the praxis and foundations of narrative research.
